The basics has been laid, but how to proceed?

After attending Elementary Course, you will understand why your dog does what it does and know what you can do to adjust behaviour. We know better than anyone that this is often easier said than done! In Middle School, you will build on Primary School and continue to work on a good partnership. Your dog is a bit older now and you have the necessary knowledge in your pocket, so the pace in this course is a lot faster! For six weeks, you will work on practice-oriented exercises that we will make one step harder each week, such as coming here from a long distance and being able to wait calmly in a stimulating environment.

Registration for High School is possible after attending Elementary School. The course lasts six weeks, and consists of one theory lesson and five practical lessons. We work with small groups for plenty of personal attention. Please note! This course will only take place if there are enough registrations: a new group can start with every three registrations.

What will you learn in this course?

Whereas our Elementary School follows a fixed programme, our High School, on the contrary, has varying content that we adapt the wishes of the participants. Of course, there are some fixed themes, such as learning to deal with stimuli, paying attention to you, and reliably coming ‘here’. In addition, you will work independently on an exercise you devise, and it can be anything!

This advanced course starts with an interactive theory lesson in which we map out together what problems are going on, and what you would like to work on. We then devise exercises to help you redirect your dog’s unwanted behaviour to desired behaviour. In the next five practical lessons, we will teach these exercises step by step and make it a little harder each week. That means lots of practice at home!

Theory and practice alternate

All our courses consist of a combination of theory and practice. The High School consists of one theory lesson and five practical lessons, and starts approximately every two months. In addition to classes at our location, you get access to an online environment with additional theory material and training videos.

The theory class is always in the evening at 20:00. For practical lessons, you can choose the morning or evening group.

Please note! This course will only go ahead if there are enough registrations. We decide one week in advance whether the course can go ahead and communicate this by e-mail.
