The Van Stal Primary School is a super extensive, intensive course of 8 lessons that is completed within 1 month. A lot of information in a short time so that you do not lag behind the facts. And these classes are mainly held indoors!
During primary school you learn to see with the eyes of a trainer. You will gain insight into the behavior of your dog and dogs in general. Why does your dog show certain behavior, what is the underlying emotion and how do you deal with it in a positive way? We not only increase your dog’s thinking capacity, but also that of you as a handler. You learn to think consciously and solution-oriented in terms of changing behavior and not unlearning behavior.
The foundation is the foundation on which we build. It starts with recognizing and recognizing the (individual) needs of your dog and how you as a handler can meet them. You do not do this by directly learning commands/signals because that is a fulfillment of our needs. You do this by first delving into the nature of a dog. How does he communicate and what role do I give my dog within our family? How can we work together to meet his needs as well as mine?
You will be taught by several certified instructors and behavioral experts.

The course days are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM (each group has its own starting time).

Every month, an Elementary School Van Stal starts. With your enrollment, you get one month of access to all the accompanying Elementary School course materials through the website or access to a special interactive Elementary Group.
Included in the course materials are extensive theory lessons and training videos on such topics as body language, dog’s needs, walking without pulling, coming ‘here’ and clicker training. The course can also be taken without the clicker, so no worries if you don’t want to use the clicker.
The online Group is designed to be an interactive group where you can share all your questions, concerns, training videos and successes on a daily basis. Also, all exercises covered in the lessons can be viewed again via clear instructional videos.
Van Stal features both an indoor and outdoor training room, so in case of rain, you’ll be dry.
