At Van Stal, on the border of Amstelveen and Amsterdam, it’s all about positive training and understanding dog language. Our goal? To teach our students why their dog does what he does, and to give them insight into the needs of their faithful four-legged friend.

Bootcamp Van Stal
Would you also like to work yourself up a sweat one morning a week? Then become a dung beetle in our Bootcamp Van Stal!
In wind and rain, snow and under a hot sun, shovelling poo and pushing bulky wheelbarrows through loose sand. As a Dung beetle, you and your fellow beetles process 73 kilos of hay a morning from barn to hay-just like it’s nothing.
And why?
Because one morning a week at Van Stal, you get away from it all. Time for yourself. In beautiful, peaceful surroundings, among the horses, just being.
And if you are interested in how we animal-friendly train our horses, pigs and dogs, you can watch everywhere, for free.
